TU Alert Reform

Currently, Temple fails to adequately inform the student body regarding campus safety on many fronts. TU Alerts, followed by inconsistent email updates, fail to deliver pertinent information about recent crime trends around campus, provide follow-up information concerning reported crimes, and inform the general student body on disciplinary measures such as suspensions taken against Greek life organizations for violations. To address these concerns, we plan to implement a monthly newsletter released by the Department of Public Safety highlighting this critical information.
